Launching in Europe, Roqad Link enables adtech companies and brands to expand addressable audiences and improve campaign performance through privacy-enhanced identity resolution
Today Roqad announced Link, a data collaboration service built on AWS Clean Rooms, which helps improve how adtech companies and brands connect with their audiences. Through Roqad Link, companies can securely match their first-party data against Roqad’s consented ID graph to expand their addressable audience, verify consent status, enable precise cross-device targeting, and measure campaign performance, while maintaining control of their data. By using AWS Clean Rooms to build Link, Roqad is enabling customers to easily and securely analyse and collaborate on their collective datasets—all without sharing or copying one another’s underlying data.
Adtech companies and brands face challenges delivering personalised advertising experiences while navigating a complex global privacy landscape. With the deprecation of third-party cookies and mobile identifiers, organisations need solutions to connect their first-party data across multiple digital touchpoints – from web browsers to mobile devices and connected TV platforms. Traditional approaches to data collaboration can require sharing sensitive information across disparate systems, creating significant operational and compliance challenges under global privacy regulations like the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). As companies build unified customer views and deploy Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), they require secure, privacy-enhanced solutions that enable them to match customer identifiers, verify consent status and maintain compliance across all touchpoints. Organisations are seeking solutions that protect customer privacy while maximising the value of their first-party data through privacy-enhancing technologies that enable personalised experiences.
Built on AWS Clean Rooms, Roqad’s Link enables secure, multi-party data collaborations between organisations and Roqad’s ID graph featuring Ideo’s hashed email (HEM) database – United Kingdom’s (UK) largest independent deterministic data provider. AWS Clean Rooms privacy-enhancing controls and configurable analysis rules enable Roqad and its customers to more securely collaborate on collective datasets without sharing or copying underlying data. Roqad Link’s identity resolution solution, helps adtech companies and brands expand their addressable audience, maintain consent strings, activate cross-device campaigns and measure performance while maintaining control over their data assets. Organisations can define collaboration parameters and analysis rules, designed to help enable secure data collaboration at scale.
Roqad’s Link integrates with companies’ existing data infrastructure, including Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3), Snowflake, and other supported storage solutions. Link leverages AWS Clean Rooms privacy-enhancing capabilities, including cryptographic computing to keep data encrypted throughout the process, providing a tool for customers to securely collaboration on their datasets without sharing their underlying data or moving it out of AWS.
Companies can enrich their customer data against Roqad’s ID graph and Ideo database, for more precise audience targeting and cross-device measurement without sharing or copying their raw data. While maintaining consent strings throughout operations, to help ensure privacy compliance across advertising workflows.
“We’re proud to be working with AWS and Ideo on this new cutting-edge solution for brands and adtech companies” said Alasdair Cross, Roqad Global VP of Sales. “The two main challenges that exist for our industry in Europe revolve around delivering meaningful volumes of matched first-party datasets within the parameters of GDPR regulation. As Europe’s largest privacy-safe Identity Resolution provider we’re fully committed to helping marketers’ future-proof their data collaboration needs.”
This data collaboration service has launched initially in the UK, with planned expansion to other European countries in the near future.
